I just rewatched The Unwonted Sasquatch and was put off by Meldrum giganto discussion. It's a theory that has been out there but it's not sustainable. The only reason Meldrum once considered the giganto theory is because he needed some thesis to maintain scientific credibility. It's ok to change your position later but he needed something as concrete as he could make it.
That's the problem with publishing papers, making films and books. Science learns more and more every day. You never know where impacts of earth history and humanity's evolution and ecology, etc is going to upend BF theories.
I'm still going to watch the follow up to Unwonted Sasquatch, which is Sasquatch among Wildmen.

Russian Yeti Caught on Dashcam Analysis - Yeti in Russia?
Could the dashboard video from a drive down a dark, winding, snowy road in the Russian countryside have turned up proof of the “missing link” that Yeti and Bigfoot chasers have been looking for?
The dashcam video, posted on Youtube, was reportedly shot in the Republic of Bashkortostan, located between the Ural mountains and the Volga River near the country’s Kazhakstan border.
In the video, the car’s driver and passengers are talking in Russian about Yetis (you can make out the word a couple of times in their conversation) when about 36 seconds into the video, a blurry figure darts across the road within range of the car’s headlights!
The vehicle stops immediately and its engine cuts out before it is restarted and continues over the figure’s tracks, before reversing to get a better look.
Could the alleged sighting of the alleged cousin of the alleged legendary Bigfoot be legit? Allegedly?

RIP Bryan Sykes
As the U.K.’s Guardian newspaper said yesterday, in an article titled “Bryan Sykes Obituary,” “The human geneticist Bryan Sykes, who has died aged 73, pushed forward the analysis of inherited conditions such as brittle bone disease and double-jointedness, and was one of the first to extract DNA from ancient bone. The same Bryan Sykes, holder of a personal chair at Oxford University, analysed hair supposedly taken from mythical hominids such as the Bigfoot and Yeti, and announced the results in a three-part television series. His delight in science and enthusiasm for communicating it to popular audiences were both aspects of an expansive personality that alternately inspired and exasperated his colleagues.” Let’s have a look at some of Sykes’ important work in the field of Cryptozoology.

Hi Lon,
The photo included in this email is from my friend's game camera. He works out of town and once he returned home, he checked his camera and this amazing picture was on there. He lives in Clarksville, Ga, in the woods on his family's private property. This area of Georgia has had many tales of Bigfoot and strange happenings / sightings with no explanation for them. My friend said growing up on that property he has smelled foul odors outside that can't be explained. He heard "whoops" and also has heard knocking on trees many different times. All of that still continues. This photo was taken in February 2019.
To me, the figure in the image looks to have a mane or spike type of hair on top of head. And just below the hairline, it looks like a large fold on forehead that you often see on gorillas. Where the mouth would be, looks to me like the top part of it looks to protrude on inside, kind of like a primates mouth does. And then you see where this creature's massive shoulders and arms start and how big and broad he is. Not to mention how tall he is.
I can assure you 100% legit. This image is in no way manipulated or photoshopped. This is no joke. KD

This trail camera image is not consistent with a bear with ears on top pf the head, appears to show broad shoulders, comes from a very convincing witness, who experienced other activity in a very squatchy area, with corroborating large footprint evidence. The comparison foot is a mens 10 1/2 shoe.
